On January 9 and 10, 2021, we hosted KEMO CLUB Vol.8 × VR JMoF, our first-ever 2-day consecutive event.
This event also marked the final chapter of our first era: the monthly residency series.
- Day 1: Featured sets by DJ Vulp, minawa, and 0b4k3. The night spanned from EDM and Tech House club energy all the way to underground sounds at the close, making for a wide-ranging first day.
- Day 2: Welcomed DJ EAR, SHIRIA@, and F Rabbeat. Hard-hitting sounds, groovy house, Kawaii Future Bass, and everything in between, all packed into one night, closing out with Porter Robinson's Shelter.
Both days featured VJs Tuna and Fallen-Angel_R-K. Their visuals gave each night its own character.

The venue received several custom upgrades. We restored the desktop-mode "camera angle switcher" (activated via number keys) and integrated VRChat's "Expressive Menu (ExMenu)" to make interactive lighting and world controls more intuitive.
Running 11 events in just 8 months since our June 2020 launch was a whirlwind. To the staff, performers, everyone who came to dance, and everyone who supported us on FANBOX and Patreon: thank you.

Behind the decision to pause was the team's own rapid growth. With each event, the production quality climbed higher, our VJ pushed for more stable and ambitious music curation, the visual team aimed for bigger creative canvases, and everyone's aspirations began to outpace what a monthly format could sustain. At the same time, the organizer was juggling multiple convention staff roles and other projects alongside near-daily coordination calls, and honestly, it was becoming exhausting. Still, the experience of building festival-caliber spaces month after month was something we'll carry with us. That's exactly why we chose to stop, recharge, and come back with skills that could match what the team was reaching for.
This pause would lead to something bigger down the road.
